In the minds of aging metalheads, Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, and Megadeth will always be linked. Back in the 80s, these bands were known as thrash metal’s Big Four, and many a 7-11 parking lot argument hinged on which one ruled the hardest. (This writer’s opinion: Metallica, obviously. Duh.) Against all odds, all four bands still roam the earth. And this summer, they’ll all share a stage.
